Lucky for OC pizza lovers there are also locations in Irvine and Mission Viejo. Spotless interior, easy parking, and ice-cold beer. What more could you ask for in a pizza joint? You can sit and watch the pizza being made and rest easy because all of their pies are all-natural, HFCS free with no extraneous calories.
Deli News Pizza

Any student at CSULB will tell you it’s all about Deli News Pizza. You don’t get 969 reviews with 4.5 stars for no reason. It’s quick, it’s cheap and they don’t hold back on the portions for pasta and more. A small pizza will only set you back $5 and it’s huge. Parking can be difficult when it’s busy so be on the lookout to snag a spot where you can. Warning, Deli News Pizza is cash only and closed on Sundays.
Village Road Pizzeria

18” is the only size at Village Road Pizzeria and we wouldn’t want it any other way. It’s New York-style pizza which means a light, thin crust that allows you to eat far too many delicious slices in one sitting. There isn’t much seating to dine in so we suggest delivery, however, they do have a couple of brews on tap if you can grab a seat.
Pinches Pizza

Tuesday's are their $1 topping day you can load up your pie with their fresh ingredients. If you’re feeling adventurous we suggest the Mexican Bandido specialty pizza with jalapeños, chorizo, and beans. There are also plenty of other delicious dishes to choose from to accompany your pizza like spicy wings, alfredo, or chili cheese fries. The staff is friendly and the pizza is good to the last bite!
Pizza x Two

If the deep dish is more to your taste, 5000 Pies is right up your alley. Even better, 5000 Pies is a social enterprise of Fountain of Life Covenant Church, helping kids in West Long Beach transform their lives through employment and life skill coaching. This local spot is most known for its loaded buffalo fries, just $5. So plan to indulge for your pizza night. Don’t plan to eat in however, the store front is small so make sure you get your pizza, buffalo fries, and maybe a few cookies, to go.
Sorrento Italian Kitchen

If you live in Bixby Knolls or near this area, it's worth a try. The portions are generous, the toppings are plentiful, and lots of seating for the whole family. For casual, relaxed Italian food, Sorrento is the place to go. The best way to support mom-and-pop shops is by indulging in wings, Alfredo, and more. On Yelp there’s also currently a $15 for $20 deal to help you get that much bang for your buck.
Michael’s Pizzeria

Michael’s has a great Zagat rating, nice outdoor seating, and authentic Napoli-style pizza. The portions aren’t as big as the other predominately delivery joints on the list but don’t doubt you’ll get a high-quality pizza and a great cozy atmosphere. The same practices and principles of the family’s original restaurant in Italy hold at the pizzeria in Long Beach: from sourcing locally grown, organic vegetables, to making the sausage in-house.
