We’re excited to welcome Dr. Moe-Fan Zhang to the FirstTeam® Real Estate family as he officially opens the North Yorba Linda Community Office.
Fan’s mission for this new office is clear: to mentor the next generation of real estate leaders and deliver a higher standard of service to clients through a collaborative, heart-led culture.
“I realized I couldn’t personally serve every client the way I wanted to — so my goal became mentoring others to carry on the same standards,” Fan says. “It’s about passing the baton.”
Fan entered real estate in 2016, but it became his full-time calling in 2018, when his father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He left his successful corporate role at luxury brand Piaget, where he was a top sales performer, in search of a career with more flexibility and personal meaning.
That turning point became the foundation for a real estate journey rooted in empathy, resilience, and service.
Fan’s philosophy is centered on value over commission and legacy over transactions. He believes that real estate is about solving problems and creating impact — whether that means helping a family recover from the 2008 housing crash or selling a home to fund a client’s leukemia treatment.

His leadership style prioritizes emotional intelligence and ownership. Fan seeks self-starters with emotional maturity and a “will-over-skill” mindset — those who are hungry to grow and lead with intention.
