Hollywood Hills, California is a hillside neighborhood in central Los Angeles. Tucked among the Cahuenga Pass in the Santa Monica Mountains, Hollywood Hills is best known for being home to the famous Hollywood sign and is one of the most prominent neighborhoods in Southern California.

Nicknamed ā€œThe Hills,ā€ living in Hollywood Hills gives you easy access to everything the city of Los Angeles has to offer. You can explore nearby Studio City, Universal City, and Burbank, among other Los Angeles sights.

Though in one of the most central locations, Hollywood Hills boasts lush greenery with its multiple parks, a nice break from the hustle of Los Angeles. The 11th largest municipal park in the United States, Griffith Park, calls Hollywood Hills home. Griffith Park spans more than 4,200 acres with plenty of biking, hiking, and horseback riding trails. Also located in Griffith Park is the Griffith Observatory, a popular destination for viewing the surrounding areas and planets above.

Another popular park is Runyon Canyon. Residents spend their time here partaking in outdoor yoga, walking their dogs, having a picnic, and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Just a short distance away is the famous Sunset Strip. Extending from Sunset Boulevard to West Hollywood, the strip is lined with restaurants, shopping, clubs, and features many colorful billboards.
