Temecula

Welcome to Temecula

Temecula is a city in southwestern Riverside County, bordered by Murrieta on the northwest and the Pechanga Indian Reservation on the south. Temecula is the site of one of the oldest wineries in California, and the Temecula Valley continues to be a small but significant wine production center, supporting nearly 20 wineries in its picturesque wine country. Its wines are generally less known than those from California wine districts like Santa Ynez and Napa Valley, but the warmer climate is particularly well-suited to grapes such as the Rhone varietals, Cabernet, and Zinfandel. Besides its wineries, Temecula has a lot to offer its estimated 93,923 residents, as well as its visitors, including nine local golf courses, the Pechanga Resort & Casino complex, spectacular natural beauty, rich history, unlimited shopping, excellent schools and recreation to please the entire family. Temecula is well known for its hot air balloon rides and tours, floating over wineries and desert terrain. Old Town Temecula is home to events like car shows, western days, and summer entertainment, popular throughout the region.
