Raised in Rossmoor and a Los Alamitos High School graduate, Michael Kahn is a local real estate expert who understands these communities not just as an agent — but as a homeowner, investor, and long-time resident.

Michael’s real estate career didn’t start with selling homes. It started in property management and investment real estate. Since 2008, he has managed over 90 residential units, retail centers, an industrial building, and multiple properties across California and Arizona. This hands-on experience gives his clients a major advantage: he understands homes from an ownership, financial, and operational perspective — not just a sales perspective.

After earning his Business Administration degree in Finance from CSU Fullerton, Michael worked as a loan officer before transitioning into managing income property. This finance and lending background allows him to guide buyers and sellers through transactions with a deeper understanding of valuation, negotiation strategy, and deal structure.

Today, Michael specializes in helping clients navigate:

  • Probate and trust estate sales

  • 1031 exchanges and investment property transactions

Before real estate, Michael worked in education as a teacher, high school football coach, and later as a director for a local educational nonprofit — experience that shaped his communication style, leadership, patience, and client-first approach.

As a husband and father of two, Michael understands how important “home” really is. His roots in the community and extensive real estate background allow him to serve as both a trusted advisor and a strong advocate for his clients throughout Coastal Orange County, Long Beach, and surrounding Los Angeles communities.
